Sometimes a parent or student wants the lesson notification emails to go to more than one email address. This is why we added the 'Secondary Email' field to the Add Student form.

This field could be used for another parent's email address, a grandparent or other caregiver. Anyone who wants to receive lesson notifications by email.

It's important to note the secondary email is used solely for receiving lesson emails. It is not used for signing in to the family LessonMate account.

As you might know, the primary email address for a family must be unique in LessonMate but this restriction doesn't apply to secondary emails.

PRO TIP: if you have multiple secondary email addresses you can put them all in the secondary email field separated by a comma 😉
