YouTube has a vast collection of videos that can be helpful when teaching. Whether you are referencing a popular tune or artist or demonstrating a style or technique, embedding a YouTube video in a lesson can be a powerful thing.

How to add a YouTube video to your lesson

Step 1 - Go to the YouTube video you want to embed

Step 2 - Copy the URL of the video:

  • In desktop/laptop browsers click Share then Copy

  • In mobile browsers tap Share then tap the URL to copy

  • In the iOS YouTube app hit Share then Copy Link

Step 3 - Back in LessonMate click the film icon in the toolbar above the text box

Step 4 - Paste the URL into the popup box then hit Save
