Many schools like to refer to their teachers with abbreviated names, like LauraP or Miss Laura. You can do that in LessonMate too!

Admins can give teachers a 'display name' which will show on all family/student facing content. Existing teachers can be updated from their profile page.

The display name will show up in the lesson content and the email notifications sent to the families and students.

It's entirely optional, so If you don't enter display names for your teachers we'll continue to show their first and last names as usual.
