Many of our schools run multiple locations. Some school do it under a single LessonMate account and others use multiple accounts. Which is best for your school depends on your needs.

Here's how multiple locations work in LessonMate.

Single account

When you run multiple locations from a single LessonMate account:

  • Single owner account for all locations

  • Single admin dashboard for all locations

  • Admins can see all students and staff for all locations

  • Teachers can teach any student at any location

  • Single login for teachers who teach at multiple locations

  • Single login for families who attend multiple locations

  • School name shown on website and in emails must be the same

  • Single monthly LessonMate subscription for all locations

Multiple accounts

When you run each location from a separate LessonMate account:

  • Separate admin dashboard for each location

  • Separate owner account for each location

  • Admins can see all students and staff for only their own location

  • Teachers can teach students only at their location

  • Separate logins required for teachers who teach at multiple locations

  • Separate logins required for families who attend multiple locations

  • School name shown on website and in emails can be different

  • Separate monthly LessonMate subscriptions for each location

Summary

Whether each point is a plus or a minus depends on your situation and needs.

  • if all of your locations are under a single brand and you're OK with your admins being able to access teachers and students at all locations you're good to go under a single account. πŸ™Œ

  • If you need separate names/brands for each location you'll need to run each one under a separate LessonMate account. Teachers, admins and families who are at multiple locations will need a separate LessonMate login for each location.
